Product Details

The HeartSave myPAD Fully Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with LCD Display combines automatic ECG analysis with Fully Automated shock delivery and clear audio-visual guidance. The 4.3" colour LCD presents animated operating information alongside spoken prompts, providing an easy-to-follow interface through the rescue sequence.

The device manages an advised shock automatically following its warning and countdown, reducing the number of manual actions required during defibrillation. Adult and child modes support different patient groups, while biphasic technology automatically compensates for patient impedance. The display also provides ECG waveform animation and key operating information directly on the device.

Compact construction supports convenient placement and transport, while automatic self-tests and visible status information simplify routine readiness monitoring. Waterproof and dustproof protection supports long-term placement across professional and public-access environments. Bluetooth provides local configuration, with optional Wi-Fi + LTE available for remote device management and monitoring.

Clear Visual Guidance: Voice prompts and animated screen information provide two complementary forms of operating guidance.
The colour LCD displays visual instructions, patient-mode information and ECG waveform animation alongside spoken prompts.

Automatic Shock Delivery: Fully Automated operation reduces the number of manual actions required during defibrillation.
When defibrillation is advised, the device manages the shock sequence automatically following its safety warning and countdown.

Built For Long-Term Readiness: Automatic checks and clear device information support dependable day-to-day availability.
Self-testing, visible status information and waterproof and dustproof protection help keep the AED prepared and accessible between uses.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

  • What additional information does the LCD provide?
The colour screen provides animated operating guidance, adult or child mode information, battery status, ECG waveform animation and network status where applicable.
  • Is the LCD a touchscreen?
No. This model uses the standard 4.3" colour LCD. PRIMEDIC identifies touchscreen models separately.
  • Does Fully Automated mean the AED can deliver a shock without analysing the heart rhythm?
No. Fully Automated refers to how an advised shock is delivered. The AED analyses the ECG first and only enters the shock sequence when a shockable rhythm is identified.
  • What happens immediately before an automatic shock?
The device warns the user not to touch the patient and provides a countdown before the advised shock is delivered automatically.
  • Can the ECG waveform on the screen be used for diagnosis?
No. The displayed ECG waveform supports AED operation and electrode application; it is not intended for diagnostic interpretation.
  • How does child mode work?
Child mode reduces the defibrillation energy for younger patients while retaining the same core operating workflow.
  • Does the AED need Wi-Fi or LTE for the LCD or defibrillation to work?
No. The display, ECG analysis and defibrillation operate independently of network connectivity. Wi-Fi + LTE is used for remote device management and monitoring.
  • How does the AED check that it is ready for use?
Automatic self-tests monitor key systems at scheduled intervals, while the device provides visible readiness and operating-status information.
