The Baseline hydraulic hand dynamometer gives accurate grip strength readings without the subject being able to "feel" the handle move. Five position handle and body design yield results that are consistent with published Baseline® and Jamar® studies. The strength of the reading can be viewed as pounds or kilograms.
Baseline Pinch Gauge
The Baseline hydraulic pinch gauge uses a hydraulic system to assure convenience, product reliability, and measurement accuracy, and repeatability. A therapist can support the pinch gauge during testing, yielding a more accurate result for all pinch tests. Use for tip, key, and palmer tests. Maximum reading remains until the unit is reset. Baseline Steel Finger Goniometer
Used to measure range-of-motion (ROM) of finger joints (metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal) and other small joints including toes.
Baseline Finger Circumference Gauge
Measure the circumference of a joint or digit. Wrap webbing around the finger and read the circumference directly from the ruler.
Baseline 180° Plastic Goniometer
Permits observation of joint axis of motion, and its range of motion. The 180° head has three scales calibrated to be used with the ISOM (International Standards of Measurement, STFR) system.
Baseline Measuring tape
Housed in a protective plastic casing for easy operating and retracting. Made with woven fabric, this measurement tape is calibrated in inches and centimeters with a push-button retractor.
Two-Point Discriminator
Standardized testing for two-point discrimination can be done with this single unit. The innovative design consists of two sturdy, rotating, plastic disks that are joined together. Rounded tips are spaced at standard testing intervals from 1 to 15mm apart. A 20 and 25mm spacing is also given. One disk setting tests from 1 to 8mm. To change to the 9 to 15mm disk setting, simply rotate the top disk until it clicks in place. Accurately tests static and moving two-point discrimination of fingers, toes, or sensory flaps. Baseline Fold-Up Monofilament Set
The Baseline Fold-Up Monofilament evaluator set is used to measure the cutaneous sensory perception threshold. The monofilament test provides a non-invasive evaluation with objective and repeatable results. Each monofilament represents a unique amount of force which is marked by force and size. Features an easy-to-fold nylon filament for protection as well as easy storage and portability. Sets are shipped and stored in a soft-shell protective carrying case.
